Gumtree & Craigslist

October 28th, 2007

Everyone wants to sell something or another. With the Internet it has become much easier to find places that you can sell a product and not have to pay to advertise it locally in a newspaper.

With sites like Craigslist and Gumtree you can now post your ad for free and sell whatever you want. Those sites make it easy for you to select a location and put your ad and then sit back and wait for someone to email you or call you. Millions of people visit those ads on a monthly basis and are becoming every more popular. So if you have items that have been laying around forever and you just don’t know what to do with them now you have a place to sell them.

Also, if you are a small business and hampered with advertising rates you need to also utilize Craigslist and Gumtree to post about your business services and what you can provide for others. Posting is still free and still seen by millions.

Of course there are ways to make all of these postings even easier now than before with software programs such as EzAdSuite and EZGumTreePoster . With these programs you can setup your advertising campaigns and not have to deal with the manual way of posting.

Don’t miss out on the free ways to sell items and to advertise your services. They are out there and it’s just a matter of utilizing them.

Your Own Domain for E-Mail

October 28th, 2007

It amazes me how many people come in to have their computer worked on and they either have AOL, MSN, Yahoo, etc….for their mail. Then the problem comes in they don’t know the mail settings or forgot the password, etc.

For a small price you can own your own Domain Name and use e-mail through that. Say for instance your name was John Smith. You could get the domain (if it’s available) johnsmith.com or smithfamily.com etc. Doing this you make sure you e-mail does not change no matter what the circumstances.

Alot of times people change providers, move out of state, etc….With your own domain you never have to worry about changing your e-mail again.

Vista ??

October 2nd, 2007

With Microsoft saying early 2008 is the ending of XP being distributed alot of customers are buying pc’s with Vista on them. Personally I would still buy the XP Home (Professional) pc myself.

I actually think Microsoft will rethink their stopping of Windows XP for many reasons. First and foremost “people want XP”……Vista has not turned out exactly like they wanted.

Should you decide to go wild and buy a pc with Vista on it just make sure it is loaded with memory or you will regret it down the road.
