Computer Repair Business Lessons Learned

January 14th, 2007

Well our book is amost ready to be made for distribution. In starting our business we realized how hard it actually is to find anyone willing to divulge information about the business. If you ask for documents for examples typically you get reasons why they won’t give them to you. If you ask qeustions you get vague answers.

So with all that in mind I decided to write my own book titled “Computer Repair Business Lessons Learned“ and it covers everything about starting a business and running the daily operation of it. Some of the Lessons are:

Proposals
Maintenance Contracts
Customer Service

Normal Problems

January 14th, 2007

Lately most of our work has been for the typical spyware and virus problems. Still really have a dislike for the newest Norton version on the market. Have yet to run across a computer that loads fast once it is installed. It sort of seems like it takes over the entire computer. Personally I still like Trend Micro for an anti-virus solution. But, it seems that alot of people that have Norton feel the need to do the renewal. My opinion is let it expire and then go with a product that is better.
